Scholarship Fund (awarded to college students)
As an educational and philanthropic association, Women Painters West has created a scholarship fund to award outstanding art students in the Southern California area to realize their academic and career potential.
Philanthropy (Donations for Community Art Programs)
In addition, our programs include philanthropic assistance to community art programs. These programs build on Women Painters West’s goal of assisting in the development of emerging artists throughout the community.
Annual Art Supply Donation by WPW Membership
Hello everyone, it’s time again for our annual Holiday Donation of Art Supplies
This year WPW chose ARTree Community Art Center, located in Newhall.
About: ARTree is a non-profit arts center, located in Newhall, California. Starting in 2010, with a commitment to bringing art opportunities to all ages, ARTree has developed deep roots in the community. ARTree holds weekly classes, and monthly free open studios, promotes volunteerism, and spearheads public art projects throughout Santa Clarita. ARTree classes teach artistic principles utilizing an active, hands-on approach in small class settings. The teaching staff of artists bring their expertise and enthusiasm in a wide range of mediums.
We are hoping to raise $500, but we would love to exceed that! You may donate any amount on the “ARTree” donation button on our WPW website. The money will be used to purchase items from their wish list. Please be as generous as you can. Donations may be made using a credit card, Zelle, or PayPal. They will provide a list of what has been purchased and photos of students using those supplies.
Make your Donation now on the Payments Page of this website
This fundraiser will remain open until we reach our goal of $500.
They are very excited to be selected for this year’s donation.
