MEMBER MEETINGS
Members Meeting are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, September through June, via Zoom from 1 – 3 PM pst. Additionally, we’re planning to schedule 2-3 evening meetings in place of the day time meeting to accommodate our working members. These online meetings allow us access to wonderful teachers, artists, art educators, and the business of art educators, gallery owners and the like, that are both within our Los Angeles area and outside our geographic area. We are fortunate to live in a time that is less geographically bound and where technology can help serve us. An intimate question-and-answer period after the presentation provides up-close and personal dialogue with our speakers. In addition almost all of our meetings are recorded and then uploaded to our Women Painters West YouTube channel. FIELD TRIPS & ART SHARES
In addition to General meetings, Field Trips and other in-person meetings are scheduled throughout the year to allow our members more intimate and personal small group gatherings. In the past we have had private docent led museum tours, paint-outs, studio visits. Recently, we began Art Share get-togethers in different members homes where our artists can gather to share their work, progress, ideas, and/or ask for feedback. Art Shares take place around 3 times/year and are in different parts of the LA area.

ART BOOK CLUB
Meetings are on the third Thursday of the month usually on Zoom.  Each member is asked to bring the names of books for consideration by the group. These books should be about art or artists, fiction or non-fiction.

The meeting fee will vary depending on the venue, check the home page for the fee amount.
Pre-registration is required for all in-person meetings.

MEETING TIMES

Times vary for in-person Art Share meetings.

  Zoom Meetings
Monthly Artist Networking meetings are on the second Thursday of the month. The meetings are held from 1:00-3:00 pm each month except for evening meetings that are held at 7 pm.  There are no monthly meetings in July and August. Monthly Meetings are open to members and guests.
Board of Directors meetings are held from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month and are open to all members.

MEETING FEES

(September 2024- June 2025)
There are no fees for monthly Zoom meetings for members
Special Event and In-person meeting fees depend on the location.
Guests are charged $10 for attending Zoom Meetings.
